Job description
Role Overview
This position involves joining a dynamic team responsible for the development, operation, and comprehensive management of Traffic & Street Lighting (T&SL) projects. The aim is to enhance the safety and effectiveness of the road network whilst catering to commuter requirements.
Key Responsibilities
The role encompasses engagement with the entire Street Lighting system lifecycle, including conducting feasibility studies, planning projects, reviewing tenders and designs, overseeing installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, as well as documentation. Additionally, handling feedback from the public, government bodies, and private developers is integral. Collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders is necessary to define engineering needs and performance standards.
Candidate Profile
- Educational background in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in project management concerning maintenance operations.
- Strong abilities in written communication, verbal communication, and presentation.
- Proactive, resourceful, and enthusiastic about troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrates high accountability and possesses analytical thinking skills.
- Holding a valid Class 3 driving license is preferred due to required site visits.
