About the Role
Freedom from Torture, a leading UK human rights organization dedicated to aiding survivors of torture, is seeking an Executive Assistant to support their CEO. This part-time post involves working 28 hours weekly, predominantly from their lively Finsbury Park office in London (3 days onsite, 1 day remote). The position offers a pro-rata annual salary of A331,215 based on a full-time equivalent of A339,019.
The role involves close collaboration with an impactful organization focused on empowering survivors through therapeutic care and advocacy. As Executive Assistant, you will play a key role in facilitating smooth governance and strategic operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive executive assistance to the CEO, including expert diary and inbox management.
- Provide crucial support for the Board of Trustees and Chair by managing governance documents, preparing materials, and ensuring efficient Board and Committee meeting cycles.
- Take accurate minutes utilizing AI transcription tools like Copilot to enhance productivity and precision.
- Organize multiple priorities with impeccable attention to detail, ensuring seamless operations for leadership and governance activities.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders, preferably in dynamic, high-profile settings.
- Proficient in managing Boards and Committees with experience preparing documentation and taking clear minutes.
- Familiarity with AI transcription software such as Copilot to assist with minute taking.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- High level of discretion, integrity, and sound judgment in handling sensitive information.
- Comfortable using Office 365 and various digital collaboration platforms.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for improving operational systems.

Additional Information
