DevOps Engineer

Overview

An experienced DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer is sought for a 12-month contract within a critical government sector initiative based in Singapore, exclusively open to Singaporean applicants. This role involves managing and enhancing DevSecOps pipelines and digital platforms, including enterprise common services, to support the project’s operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the principal engineer in implementing continuous enhancements to the digital platform, including DevSecOps pipelines and related tooling.
• Oversee and coordinate the operations of the MCC and associated activities, maintaining effective communication with DSTA counterparts and authorized partners.
• Deliver technical guidance on solution design and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all implementations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of three years’ experience in IT operations, DevOps, or managing DevSecOps projects.
• Proficient understanding of DevSecOps concepts and familiarity with CIS benchmarks.
• Knowledgeable in ITIL framework and processes.
• Experience in defense or public sector projects is considered a plus.
• Certifications from cloud service providers are advantageous.

Essential Skills

• Fundamental understanding of DevSecOps pipeline architectures.
• Ability to enforce compliance across managed systems.
• Strong leadership capabilities, including supervisory, people management, and communication skills.
• Proven experience identifying risks and designing effective risk mitigation strategies.

Additional Information

This opportunity offers competitive remuneration up to SGD 7000 per month, with benefits and performance-related bonuses. The position is purely available to Singaporean nationals and is based onsite in Singapore under a contractual employment arrangement lasting approximately 12 months.
