Job Overview
Join Nutkhut Caterers as a Cook / Chef based in Delhi-NCR. This role involves preparing dishes with attention to quality and hygiene, managing kitchen inventory, and supporting teamwork to ensure excellent food service.
Key Duties
- Prepare and season meals following recipes and accommodate dietary restrictions.
- Evaluate ingredient freshness and verify taste and presentation standards before serving.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and utensils, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory by monitoring ingredient stocks and assisting in restocking to avoid waste.
- Lead and mentor junior kitchen staff and collaborate with waitstaff, especially in senior positions.
Candidate Requirements
- Hands-on experience working in a dynamic commercial kitchen setting.
- Preferably formal culinary education or a diploma from a recognized culinary institution.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices, proper cutting techniques, and cooking methods.
- Physical ability to endure extended periods standing in a warm, demanding environment, including the capability to lift heavy kitchen items.
Compensation
The position offers a monthly remuneration ranging from 15000 to 18000 INR.
