About the Opportunity

Join Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) AI Cloud Team as an AS400 Administrator and advance your career in Kolkata, West Bengal. We are looking for a skilled professional with over five years of experience in AS400 / IBM i system management to join our onsite team at Geetanjali Park.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and administering AS400 / IBM i systems.
• Monitoring system performance and overseeing system administration tasks.
• Handling user profile setups and security configurations.
• Ensuring reliable backup and recovery processes.
• Managing job queues and spool files efficiently.
• Monitoring system performance and resolving issues promptly.
• Applying PTFs and managing software patches.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with AS400 / IBM i administration.
• Strong knowledge of system monitoring and administration techniques.
• Proficiency in user profile and security management on AS400.
• Experience in backup and recovery operations.
• Familiar with job and spool management.
• Competent in performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Experienced in PTF and patch management procedures.
