Provectus is an international AI and cloud consulting firm dedicated to transforming artificial intelligence and data into functional products. As partners with Anthropic and AWS, the company develops AI systems for sectors such as finance, healthcare, retail, and technology. The design team focuses on crafting user interactions across agent interfaces, chat experiences, dashboards, and internal tools.

Role Overview

We invite design beginners or individuals transitioning into design from other tech fields to join our team as apprentices. Starting with guided mentorship and structured onboarding, you'll gradually assume greater responsibilities. A key requirement is familiarity with integrating AI tools naturally into your design practices.

Key Responsibilities

Create user flows, wireframes, and mockups using Figma.
Develop interactive prototypes for idea validation.
Design interfaces for AI-powered products such as chat experiences, agent tools, dashboards, and admin panels.
Incorporate AI tools daily for research, UX copywriting drafts, idea generation, and rapid prototyping.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of design system components.
Present your designs to the team, receive constructive feedback, and refine your work accordingly.

Required Qualifications

Portfolio showcasing design work which may include academic, personal, or commercial projects demonstrating your design thinking process, not just final visuals.
Proficient with Figma, including components, auto-layout, and prototyping features.
Practical experience utilizing AI tools within a design workflow, specifically:
Large Language Model (LLM) assistants (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) for research, ideation, or UX writing.
AI-driven prototyping tools such as Figma Make, Claude Artifacts, v0, or Lovable to convert concepts into clickable prototypes.
Good communication skills to present design decisions and effectively incorporate feedback.
Understanding of fundamental design principles including user flows, wireframes, typography, and layout design.
English proficiency at or above an upper-intermediate level.

Desired Extras

Experience designing conversational or agent-based interfaces like chatbots, copilots, or voice apps.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or experience with AI coding tools for prototyping.
Awareness of accessibility principles such as color contrast and keyboard navigation.
Familiarity with generative image tools (e.g., Midjourney) for moodboarding and visual exploration.
Completed relevant design courses or obtained certifications.
