Trainee Analyst

Overview

We are looking for a driven and analytical Management Trainee to become a part of the Banking as a Service (BaaS) team. This role offers practical experience in data management, dashboard building, automation, and business analysis through collaboration with various departments. The candidate will help deliver insightful data solutions, enhance reporting processes, and bolster business strategies by providing precise data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with gathering, extracting, and preparing data to support accurate dashboards, reporting, and business insights.
• Monitor data integrity and detect inconsistencies to ensure trustworthy reports.
• Support data cleaning, structuring, and formatting using tools like Excel, SQL, or Python.
• Maintain and update existing reports, dashboards, and analytical frameworks.
• Conduct fundamental data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and areas for enhancement.
• Collaborate closely with business and cross-functional teams to identify reporting requirements and challenges.
• Preserve historical data sets and aid in trend and performance evaluations.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at automating and refining processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• Certifications in Python programming or data analytics are advantageous.
• Fresh graduates or individuals with up to one year of internship or project experience in data analytics, business intelligence, MIS, or similar areas.
• Fundamental knowledge of Python, SQL, or equivalent tools for data analysis and scripting automation.
• Proficient in MS Excel, including advanced features like formulas, pivot tables, charting, and data analysis methods.
• Exposure to data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
• Understanding concepts around data validation and transformation.
• Strong analytical thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Motivation to learn and adapt to new technologies while collaborating well in team-oriented environments.
