Role Overview

The position of Technical Executive or Senior Technical Executive involves overseeing and supporting various aspects of the Chemical Pilot Plant (CPP) operations within an educational institution. The candidate will be responsible for training, maintaining facilities, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver skills training and evaluations, while offering technical support during practical sessions held in the Chemical Pilot Plant.
  • Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the CPP and related facilities, including adherence to safety standards, managing licenses, inventory control, equipment servicing, and housekeeping. Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree or diploma in chemical engineering, life sciences, or closely related disciplines.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in plant operations, process controls (including distributed control systems), water treatment, and workplace safety and health is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work resourcefully and independently to meet deadlines and achieve assigned deliverables.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within teams and with external partners.
