Stock Unloader Associate

About the Role

Joining Walmart Canada as a Stock Unloader Associate provides an excellent opportunity to build experience within the retail sector. The role involves unloading delivery trailers, processing incoming merchandise, and transferring pallets to the sales floor. In addition, maintaining a safe and clean workspace and delivering outstanding customer service is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and reset the Receiving Area for deliveries.
• Unload and categorize merchandise from general trailers.
• Complete live unloading tasks on all remaining goods.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of refrigerated and frozen items to preserve the cold chain.
• Move merchandise pallets to the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Assist in stocking sales floor as assigned, including providing customer support when needed.
• Label and organize overstock merchandise efficiently.
• Promote a safe and hazard-free environment by following company policies and procedures, conducting safety sweep logs, and securing displays and fixtures.

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this position is $15.50 per hour.
