Service Advisor

About the Role

Volkswagen Whitefield Apple Auto Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior Service Advisor for their South Bangalore (Banashankari) location. This role is tailored for experienced individuals with a background in automobile dealerships, focusing on four-wheeler service coordination and customer relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and accurately understand their vehicle servicing needs.
• Prepare detailed job cards and provide clear repair cost estimates.
• Collaborate with workshop technicians to ensure repairs are completed promptly.
• Keep customers updated on repair status and secure approvals for any additional work.
• Hand over vehicles post-service, explaining completed work and suggesting maintenance tips.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction to meet CSI targets.
• Professionally address customer complaints and resolve service issues.
• Oversee workshop productivity and ensure compliance with OEM service standards.
• Promote and upsell additional services, accessories, and maintenance packages.
• Maintain documentation including warranty claims and service records.
• Support junior service advisors and coordinate with the broader service team.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Preferred Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant automotive service certifications are advantageous.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Strong understanding of four-wheeler systems and diagnostic procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple customers and workshop operations effectively.
• Leadership capabilities and team management experience.
• Proficiency with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and Microsoft Office.
• Effective problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Experience

Ideal candidates will have 3 to 8 years of experience working in authorized automobile dealerships. Experience with brands such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra, Toyota, Kia, Honda, Volkswagen, Skoda, MG, or similar is preferred.
