About the Role
Become part of an innovative team dedicated to designing premium, fashion-forward apparel specifically catered to churches, ministries, and organizations. This role requires an experienced apparel designer who excels in a dynamic environment and is passionate about turning client ideas into finished, production-ready clothing items.
Key Responsibilities
- Create contemporary and trendy apparel collections that meet client requirements and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Prepare comprehensive tech packs detailing specifications, materials, and garment construction for production purposes.
- Generate realistic mockups and visual presentations to obtain client approval.
- Work closely with sales and client-facing teams to understand client needs and translate them into attractive designs.
- Manage the entire design workflow from initial concept to creating production-ready files while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Maintain and regularly update a portfolio showcasing finished projects and design assets.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in apparel design supported by a strong portfolio highlighting custom garment projects.
- Expert-level skills in Adobe Illustrator and similar design tools.
- Thorough knowledge of garment construction techniques, production processes, and fabric choices.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently and deliver on tight schedules without sacrificing quality.
- Excellent communication capabilities and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience creating tech packs and collaborating with manufacturers is crucial.
- Keen attention to detail combined with a commitment to maintaining a chic, fashion-forward look.
- Availability for part-time, contract-based employment; candidates working remotely are welcomed.
