The role requires managing multiple assignments simultaneously and delivering high-quality, realistic design mockups.
Key Responsibilities
- Create contemporary, fashionable apparel collections that meet client requirements and brand standards.
- Prepare detailed technical packages for production that specify materials, stitching, and construction details.
- Design realistic mockups and visual presentations to secure client approvals.
- Work closely with sales and client teams to accurately interpret and bring client design ideas to life.
- Manage the design workflow from initial concept stages through to production-ready documentation, ensuring punctual delivery and superior quality.
- Maintain an organized portfolio of finished projects and design resources.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in apparel design supported by a comprehensive portfolio focused on custom garments.
- Expert-level skills in Adobe Illustrator and similar design software.
- Thorough knowledge of garment construction, fabric choices, and production techniques.
- Capable of juggling multiple projects and adhering to strict deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to operate both independently and within a team.
- Experience in developing technical packs and liaising with manufacturers is crucial.
- Exceptional attention to detail to uphold a premium, contemporary fashion standard.
- Open to part-time, contract engagements; fully remote working arrangements welcomed.
