Job Summary

This role involves working in an industrial environment, both indoors and outdoors, performing routine tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily compressive strength tests on hardened concrete samples.
• Carry out pre- and post-pour inspections on products daily.
• Monitor production processes as necessary.
• Support activities such as stripping, setup, and pouring of products when required.
• Communicate with management regarding process enhancements, recurring errors, and quality issues.
• Take on additional duties, temporary or permanent, as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent educational credential.
• Prior experience in quality control within a relevant industry.
• Prefers candidates with ACI (American Concrete Institute) or PCI (Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute) certification; must pass ACI Concrete Field Testing certification within three months if not already certified and maintain it thereafter.
• Basic proficiency with computers.
• Capability to comprehend and follow simple instructions and effectively communicate with coworkers.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds periodically during the workday.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
