Job description
Overview
A leading pharmaceutical organization in County Waterford is seeking a Project Engineer to manage various GMP facility enhancement and cleanroom construction projects within a stringent regulatory setting. This role is initially offered as a 12-month contract with potential for extension.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage all facets of assigned projects, including scheduling, budgeting, scoping, safety, quality assurance, and adherence to regulations.
- Serve as the subject matter expert in GMP and cleanroom standards, ensuring compliance with EU GMP Annex 1 and FDA guidelines throughout projects.
- Create, update, and monitor project schedules, proactively identifying and communicating any delays.
- Ensure all project tasks are safely planned and implemented in accordance with Safe Systems of Work.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a relevant engineering degree, such as Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or a related field.
- Demonstrate proven experience delivering engineering projects within pharmaceutical or biotech GMP environments.
- Have hands-on knowledge and practical experience in cleanroom construction, commissioning, and qualification processes.
