Overview
The People Operations Manager plays a crucial role in shaping and executing the company's human capital strategy, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for employees at every stage of their journey. They oversee functions including recruitment, employee onboarding, performance evaluation, employee relations, engagement, compliance, continuous learning, and HR administrative processes, fostering a culture centered on people and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and implement comprehensive people strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop, refine, and maintain HR policies, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- Promote and nurture an inclusive, positive, and high-achieving workplace culture.
- Guide leadership teams on organizational growth and workforce planning matters.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify areas for ongoing enhancement.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for all vacancies and formulate talent attraction strategies.
- Manage employer branding efforts to position the company as an employer of choice.
- Ensure candidates experience a smooth and professional recruitment process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers on staffing needs and planning.
- Supervise onboarding processes to ensure effective integration of new hires.
- Manage probation assessments and confirmation of employee status.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve retention.
- Oversee compliant and orderly offboarding procedures.
- Administer performance review cycles and support managers in goal setting and evaluations.
- Implement Performance Improvement Plans as necessary and coach leaders on employee development discussions.
- Build a trusting, transparent work environment resolving conflicts and employee concerns.
- Handle disciplinary matters responsibly and fairly.
- Champion employee wellbeing and engagement projects.
- Identify training needs and coordinate leadership and development programs.
- Encourage a culture of continuous learning and support career growth and succession planning.
- Maintain accurate employee records, manage attendance, leaves, and HR information systems.
- Ensure compliance with labor legislation and corporate policies while safeguarding employee confidentiality.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics to inform decision-making.
- Administer employee contracts, renewals, and related documentation thoroughly.
- Assist with payroll coordination and oversee employee benefits administration.
- Recommend competitive reward and recognition programs.
- Support regulatory audits and maintain compliance with relevant labor laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or related disciplines.
- A Master's degree is considered advantageous.
- At least 3 years of progressive human resources experience, including a minimum of 2 years in leadership or managerial positions.
- Professional HR certifications will be an added benefit.
