Position Summary

The Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) at Shared Health, located in Beausejour, Manitoba, supports the laboratory operations by managing sample triage, accession, and processing of specimens. Performing routine basic procedures as per set protocols, including phlebotomy, the MLA ensures a safe working environment, compliance with quality assurance programs, and adheres to accreditation standards. Work is done under the supervision of the Charge Technologist or their delegate, in alignment with Shared Health's mission, policies, and provincial legislation.
