Medical Director

Overview

The Medical Director will provide strategic and clinical leadership within the medical services department, reporting directly to the CEO. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused healthcare by overseeing clinical governance, physician performance, quality of care, patient safety, and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure the organization delivers safe, effective, and top-quality medical services.
• Lead initiatives related to clinical governance, physician engagement, credentialing, and continuous quality improvement to improve patient outcomes.
• Work alongside executive leadership to design and execute clinical strategies aligned with organizational goals and operational efficiency.
• Track clinical quality metrics, patient safety standards, and ensure adherence to regulations, taking corrective measures as needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, accreditation requirements, ethical standards, and legal healthcare regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Valid professional license and registration with the appropriate medical regulatory body.
• A minimum of 10 years’ clinical experience, including senior roles or medical management duties.
• Proven experience in healthcare or hospital leadership roles is essential.
• Comprehensive understanding of clinical governance, quality control, healthcare laws, and physician leadership principles.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English language is required.
