Role Overview

As a Master Data Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately maintaining and updating master data records across multiple platforms such as ERP and CRM systems. Your work will ensure the integrity and consistency of crucial business data through regular audits and validation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep master data current and precise in various systems including ERP and CRM.
• Perform routine audits and validation checks to uphold data quality and consistency.
• Work closely with different departments to understand and verify data needs.
• Assist with projects involving data migration and cleansing to improve database quality.
• Create and maintain documentation outlining master data management procedures and best practices.
• Offer training and support to users regarding standards and protocols related to master data.
• Identify and address data quality issues swiftly to reduce any negative effects on business operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Between one and three years of experience in master data management or data administration, or holding a diploma in a related discipline.
• Proficient in using Excel, particularly advanced functions like XLOOKUP, to maintain and verify data accuracy.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data precision.
• Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities to work effectively across teams.
• Effective multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
• Experience with data cleansing and validation tools will be considered an advantage.
