This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, primarily focusing on gardening and grounds upkeep, while also providing support for general maintenance tasks throughout the home.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure gardens and grounds are kept neat, orderly, and safe.
• Carry out lawn care activities including watering and weeding along with general outdoor upkeep.
• Assist in routine preventative and corrective maintenance duties.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and order in resident rooms and common areas.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and well maintained.
• Provide assistance to the broader maintenance team as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in gardening or general maintenance tasks.
• Strong motivation to work within the aged care environment.
• Good verbal communication capabilities.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to handle a dynamic and varied workload effectively.
• A relevant trade qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Possession of a current National Police Certificate.
