Role Overview
Join the BIM team to create precise models and drawings while working under the direction of experienced team members. This position focuses on supporting modeling, documentation, and coordination tasks for project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Build 3D BIM models using the provided design inputs.
- Produce shop drawings and keep project documentation current.
- Assist senior modelers and team leads with clash checks and cross-team coordination.
- Keep model records organized and maintain strict version control.
Key Interactions
Internal: BIM coordinators for task alignment and model checks; design engineers for input collection and design clarifications.
External: Consultants, through the BIM lead/coordinator, for design revisions and issue closure; contractors, when needed, for drawing clarifications.
Qualifications and Experience
A diploma or B.E. in Mechanical is required. The role calls for 3 to 6 years of practical experience in detailed BIM modeling, drawing extraction, and coordination support on medium to large projects. English is required, and knowledge of a regional language is preferred.
Technical and Behavioral Skills
The ideal candidate should have working familiarity with Revit, Navisworks, or similar BIM tools, the ability to read drawings and translate them into models, and a readiness to learn new software and workflows. Accuracy, discipline, teamwork, punctuality, and a willingness to follow instructions are important for success in this role.
