Java Software Engineer

About the Role

We seek skilled engineers passionate about developing modern, scalable applications and harnessing AI to revolutionize software creation and delivery. This role allows you to design high-performance APIs, build developer tools automated by AI, and implement enterprise integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs utilizing Java with Spring and modern architecture patterns.
• Develop Python services and developer tools that enhance AI-driven workflows, including code generation, automated testing, documentation, and continuous integration/delivery processes.
• Create, maintain, and support solutions with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) for master data management, enterprise integration, and event-driven architectures.
• Promote engineering excellence focusing on reliability, security, performance, observability, and resilience.
• Work collaboratively across various teams and stakeholders within complex enterprise settings.
• Advocate an AI-first approach by automating development tasks, testing, orchestration, data mapping, and documentation, while enforcing governance, safeguards, and quality metrics for AI-driven workflows.

Candidate Profile

• Solid software engineering and application design experience.
• Proven ability in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Advanced skills in Java development, preferably with Spring frameworks.
• Familiarity with Git and Bitbucket tools.
• Strong knowledge of current integration and API development methodologies.
• Experience with AI-supported or agentic development methods.
• Additional exposure to Python, Informatica, Siebel, or COBOL is a plus.
• Formal education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
