IT Manager

Role Overview and Responsibilities

As an IT Manager at B New Mobiles Private Limited, you will oversee comprehensive IT operations to ensure seamless support across the head office, retail locations, warehouses, and other business units. Your role encompasses managing IT infrastructure including computing devices, network equipment, biometric systems, and surveillance setups to maintain high service standards.

Infrastructure and Network Administration

• Oversee and maintain LAN/WAN network setups, VPN connections, firewalls, servers, cloud services, and internet accessibility.
• Ensure continuous uptime for all essential systems critical to business.
• Collaborate effectively with vendors and Internet Service Providers to resolve issues promptly.

ERP and Business Application Management

• Provide ongoing support for various business-critical applications such as ERP, POS, CRM, HRMS, and attendance software.
• Liaise with software vendors to implement enhancements, troubleshoot problems, and deploy new modules.
• Lead initiatives that leverage digital tools to enhance operational efficiency.

Information Security and Compliance

• Implement and enforce IT security policies, including user permissions, endpoint protection, data backups, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Safeguard data integrity, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and guard against cybersecurity threats.
• Conduct regular IT audits and maintain documentation to demonstrate compliance.

Asset and Vendor Oversight

• Maintain an updated inventory of IT assets spread across all sites.
• Manage contracts such as AMCs, oversee procurement, software licensing, and evaluate vendor performance while optimizing expenditure.

Team Leadership and Service Culture

• Lead and develop the internal IT support team, defining Service Level Agreements and monitoring ticket resolution efficiency.
• Foster a customer-centric approach within the IT support team.

Business Continuity Planning

• Ensure rapid resolution of critical IT incidents impacting operations.
• Plan upgrades to IT infrastructure to support company growth.
• Recommend innovative technology solutions aimed at enhancing productivity.

Candidate Profile and Skills

• Possess 5 to 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure and retail IT operations.
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in a leadership position managing IT operations across multiple sites.
• Preferably experienced within mobile retail, consumer electronics, or retail chain sectors.
• Proficient in Windows Server and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Strong networking knowledge including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, and active directory.
• Skilled with ERP/POS systems, CCTV, biometric technologies, cloud platforms, and IT security and backup solutions.
• Excellent vendor management, negotiation, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize effectively in fast-paced retail environments with a strong sense of ownership and business focus.
