Role summary

Avani Broadbeach Residences is growing its housekeeping team and is offering several part-time openings. The role suits someone who is organised, careful with detail, and proud of maintaining high standards. A proactive attitude, good energy, and comfort working with others are important for success in this position.

Key duties

• Keep guest rooms in excellent condition by cleaning thoroughly, making beds neatly, vacuuming floors, and sanitising bathrooms.
• Finish assigned cleaning work within the time provided by the business.
• Work closely with other team members to achieve daily cleaning targets and operational objectives.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and environmental guidelines at all times.
• Use specialist cleaning tools and products correctly and safely; full training and equipment will be supplied.
• Develop professional, respectful working relationships with colleagues, guests, and contractors to support a welcoming environment.

Shift details

The roster is rotating from Monday through Sunday and may change based on business needs. Shifts begin between 8:00 am and 9:00 am.

Pay information

Hourly pay is listed before superannuation. Monday to Friday pay is $27.08 per hour, Saturday pay is $33.85 per hour, and Sunday pay is $40.62 per hour.

Candidate profile

Applicants should be dependable, hands-on, and able to maintain a consistently high level of cleanliness. Experience in housekeeping or cleaning will be considered an advantage. The role also calls for physical stamina, clear communication, the ability to manage time well, and a positive, initiative-taking mindset.

Eligibility

Only candidates who already have the right to work in Australia or New Zealand will be considered.
