About the Company and Role
Heamac Healthcare Private Limited, located in Jeedimetla, Hyderabad, is a medical device manufacturing firm seeking a Mechanical Production Technician to join their on-site production workforce. The role focuses on hands-on mechanical fabrication and assembly for cutting-edge medical devices.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform precise cutting, grinding, buffing, and finishing tasks on sheet metal and metal piping.
- Use hand and bench drilling machines to accurately drill holes.
- Conduct tapping and threading operations primarily involving sizes M2.5, M3, and M4.
- Assemble mechanical components for medical devices per engineering specifications.
- Operate and maintain workshop tools and equipment with safety and care.
- Support the production team in daily manufacturing tasks and workflows.
- Ensure quality of fabricated parts by adhering to engineering drawings and standards.
- Keep the workshop clean and well-organized for operational efficiency and safety.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficient in sheet metal cutting, finishing, grinding, and buffing.
- Experienced with drilling and tapping/threading operations on small fasteners (M2.5, M3, M4).
- Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly processes.
- Skilled in the safe use of common workshop machinery and tools.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on maintaining quality in fabrication.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new manufacturing methods within the medical device sector.
Preferred Educational Qualifications
- ITI certification in trades such as Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Welder, Mechanical, or related fields.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Alternatively, candidates with significant mechanical fabrication experience but lacking formal degrees are welcome to apply.
Working Hours and Salary
- Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Sundays off.
- Single shift with paid overtime for extra hours worked.
- Salary range between ₹15,000 and ₹20,000 monthly, contingent on skills and experience.
