About the Role
Embrace the opportunity to be a key part of the hospitality team at Marriott International in Sydney as a Bell Attendant. You will be the face that warmly welcomes every guest, ensuring a comfortable and smooth arrival and departure experience. This full-time position is designed for passionate individuals eager to deliver memorable service and uphold the highest standards of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Cordially greet guests as they arrive and accompany them to their rooms or suites, introducing key amenities and room features.
- Assist in managing guest luggage, from carrying items to storage and retrieval tasks, while maintaining utmost care.
- Assist visitors and guests with entering and leaving the property, providing help with doors and navigation.
- Furnish information on hotel services, facilities, and operating hours, as well as local attractions and activities.
- Help guests in and out of vehicles, manage luggage loading and unloading, and organize transportation requests, including advance bookings.
- Explain parking arrangements, uphold safety procedures, and alert management to unusual or unsafe situations within the premises.
- Comply with all company policies, maintain a polished and professional appearance, and safeguard guest privacy and proprietary information.
- Consistently maintain positivity and team spirit, striving to fulfill all guests’ unique needs, including support for those with disabilities.
- Operate telephones and communicate using clear, professional language while following proper etiquette.
- Complete physical tasks such as lifting/changing objects up to 50 pounds (or more with assistance), moving swiftly as needed, and enduring prolonged standing or walking shifts.
- Participate in quality assurance programs and uphold safety and sanitation standards on-site.
- Undertake any additional job-related duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Possession of a valid full NSW driver's license is mandatory.
