Overview

We are seeking a qualified Assistant Engineer specializing in Overhead Line Maintenance to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with strong expertise in electrical power transmission systems, particularly 400/132 kV transmission overhead lines and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance operations on high-voltage 400/132 kV transmission overhead lines and associated components.
• Implement reliability-centered, preventive, and corrective maintenance strategies to ensure system integrity.
• Utilize condition monitoring techniques to maintain dependable performance of transmission lines.
• Diagnose and address faults in overhead lines, supporting enhancements in network reliability.
• Adhere strictly to international standards and established best practices in maintenance procedures.
• Comply with occupational health and safety regulations in accordance with pertinent safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience if holding a Bachelor's degree; 6 years if holding a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• In-depth understanding of electrical power transmission systems and overhead line maintenance requirements.
