Overview

Sonata Viera in Melbourne, FL, is actively recruiting Wellness Associates (Caregivers) to provide personalized care aligned with each resident's Individual Resident Service Plan. Core Responsibilities

  • Support residents with daily living activities including hygiene, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility.
  • Monitor and report immediately any changes in residents' physical or mental health to the Wellness Director.
  • Manage medical supplies inventory and assist in procurement.
  • Coordinate shift coverage during unexpected absences.
  • Help develop and maintain staff assignments under Wellness Director guidance.
  • Assist in onboarding and orientation of new Wellness Associates.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, administer first aid, and facilitate medical follow-up.
  • Ensure cleanliness and order within resident units.
  • Respond to residents' calls and promptly address their needs.
  • Provide assistance with residents' clothing and laundry as required.
  • Support meal selection, serving, and feeding tasks.

  • Attend at least six hours of in-service education annually.
