Role Overview
Metrics Management is recruiting for a DMS Super User to support a major EABL distributor in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County. The position suits a highly structured, analytical, and delivery-focused professional who can strengthen sales operations through disciplined use of the Distributor Management System, close stock control, purchase planning, route settlement reporting, and sales performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day administration and effective use of the Distributor Management System (DMS).
- Ensure all Van Sales Representatives use the DMS consistently and in full compliance.
- Track sales results against set targets and submit timely performance updates.
- Handle purchase planning while keeping it aligned with sales demand and stock levels.
- Keep stock records up to date and monitor inventory movement within the system.
- Compile and circulate Daily Route Settlement and Cash Collection Reports.
- Confirm that all sales entries are correctly recorded and reconciled in the DMS.
- Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly management reports within required timelines.
- Identify DMS issues, investigate mismatches, and resolve data inconsistencies.
- Guide and train DMS users to improve compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Follow company policies as well as Health and Safety requirements at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Accountancy, Statistics, Data Analytics, Sales and Marketing, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in FMCG distribution, sales operations, DMS administration, inventory control, or a similar role.
- Practical experience using Distributor Management Systems is strongly preferred.
- Strong ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and solve problems effectively.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capability, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and reporting functions.
- High attention to detail, together with integrity, accountability, and accuracy.
- Good organization, communication, and time management skills.
- Capacity to perform well under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
- Prior exposure to EABL, KBL, Coca-Cola, or comparable FMCG distribution settings will be an added benefit.
Success Measures
- Achievement of sales targets.
- Effective management of purchase plans.
- Accuracy of stock control within the DMS.
- Full DMS adoption by Van Sales Representatives.
- On-time and correct Daily Route Settlement and Cash Collection reporting.
- Accuracy and punctuality of management reports.
- Strong time discipline, integrity, and observance of Health and Safety standards.
