Program Overview
Join Microsoft in Riyadh as a Specialist Intern through the Ru’aa program, an initiative designed specifically for Saudi nationals to enhance employability via early-in-career recruitment and skill development. This paid six-month program blends technical certification, professional training, and hands-on experience to prepare you for impactful roles in sales and digital transformation.
Program Structure
- Phase 1 (1 month): Onboarding inclusive of understanding Microsoft’s culture, mission, and organizational structure; acquisition of Microsoft-recognized technical certifications; professional development in areas such as project management, change management, interpersonal skills, creativity, innovation, and time management.
- Phase 2 (5 months): On-the-job training involving mentorship, coaching, job shadowing, and participation in digital transformation projects with a focus on advanced technologies like AI, Machine Learning, and Cloud Computing.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn to identify and qualify sales opportunities using AI-driven tools by analyzing customer data under direct supervision.
- Engage in sales activities including pipeline reviews, forecasting accuracy, and maintaining sales hygiene for consumption and adoption trends.
- Support partner recruitment and management, aligning partner strategies to enhance competitive value and customer success plans.
- Utilize AI and automation technologies to analyze sales data, help inform sales prioritization, and contribute feedback to optimize customer portfolios.
- Understand industry trends via whitespace and market analysis to forecast sales plays and promote cloud and AI-driven transformations for customers.
- Collaborate across multiple organizational teams to orchestrate deals and ensure smooth transition throughout deal lifecycle stages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Business or related field – either completed or in progress.
- Must be a Saudi national legally authorized to work in Saudi Arabia.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- A strong interest in technology and customer engagement.
- Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience or passion for technical consulting, sales, or product development is advantageous.
