Role Overview
We seek an experienced and dynamic Service Delivery Practice Lead based in Auckland to take stewardship and accelerate growth of our service delivery capabilities. This senior leadership role is perfect for someone who enjoys balancing strategic vision and hands-on management. You will lead a team of Service Delivery Managers and Coordinators, manage service performance for key customers, and influence the future direction of our practice.
Responsibilities
- Guide and motivate the service delivery team to consistently achieve excellent outcomes through strong governance and operational excellence.
- Oversee customer governance, handle escalations, and influence commercial aspects including service agreements.
- Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to ensure smooth resource allocation, transitions, and successful project delivery.
- Provide direct people leadership involving coaching, staff development, performance management, and workload balance.
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive background in IT service delivery, including senior leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success in managing and developing teams with direct reporting responsibilities.
- Expertise in customer governance and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience supporting complex enterprise service environments.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service management best practices.
- Broad understanding of infrastructure, software, and cloud technologies.
- Commercial awareness related to service agreements, budgeting, and profitability reporting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building capabilities.
- A pragmatic and continuous improvement-oriented mindset to drive organizational change.
