Overview
Join a reputable specialist firm creating bespoke sensory environments for education, healthcare, and care sectors, improving learning, wellbeing, and independence. This full-time remote role focuses on consulting with clients to develop inspiring spaces that make a meaningful impact.
Work Schedule and Location
The position is mainly remote with some on-site visits throughout London and the South East. Working hours span Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility offered. Weekly attendance at the head office is required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Meeting clients at schools, healthcare facilities, care homes, and specialist support centers to understand their needs.
- Conducting thorough site surveys, collecting accurate measurements, and documenting project specifications.
- Translating client visions into clear and precise project briefs.
- Offering innovative ideas and recommendations to optimize space usage.
- Managing client projects through the sales pipeline via CRM software.
- Promptly responding to enquiries and maintaining constant communication with customers.
- Building and nurturing long-lasting relationships with schools, academies, local authorities, and healthcare organizations.
- Conducting consultations via video meetings when necessary.
- Coordinating with in-house design and project teams to support smooth project delivery.
- Representing the company at industry trade shows and events.
- Completing project handovers and delivering product training post-installation.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is personable and enjoys engaging with clients to solve challenges and bring ideas to fruition. Strong organizational skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining exceptional customer service are crucial.
Preferred Background and Skills
- Experience in project consultancy, construction, facilities management, interior projects, building services, fit-out, technical sales, or project coordination.
- Proven skill in face-to-face customer interactions.
- Aptitude for understanding technical details and conducting precise site surveys.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.
- Proactive, energetic, and creative mindset with confidence to contribute ideas.
- Professional demeanor with credibility among diverse stakeholders.
- Commercial insight and experience managing sales or project pipelines.
- Capacity to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Possession of a full UK driving license.
