About the Role
This position offers a distinctive opportunity to contribute to creating meaningful sensory environments within the education, healthcare, and care sectors. Focused on London and the South East, you'll act as a key advisor managing projects from initial client consultation through design handover. The role centers on relationship building rather than aggressive sales, supporting clients in developing spaces that enhance learning, wellbeing, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Visiting clients in various settings such as schools, healthcare facilities, care homes, and specialized establishments to gather detailed project requirements.
- Performing comprehensive site surveys, taking precise measurements, and recording essential data for project scopes.
- Engaging attentively with clients to translate their visions into clear and actionable project briefs.
- Offering innovative ideas and recommendations to optimize the use of every space.
- Managing and advancing projects through the sales pipeline using CRM systems.
- Maintaining timely follow-ups and consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Developing and nurturing long-term relationships with educational institutions, local authorities, and healthcare organizations.
- Conducting remote video consultations as required.
- Collaborating with design and project teams to facilitate successful project execution.
- Participating in industry trade shows and events to stay connected and informed.
- Completing project handovers, including providing product training after installation.
- Visiting head office weekly as part of role requirements.
Candidate Profile
This role suits candidates who relish engaging with people, understanding their challenges, and helping realize their ideas. You should be organized, commercially minded, and adept at handling concurrent projects while ensuring exceptional client experiences.
Relevant background areas include project consultancy, construction, facilities management, interior projects, building services, fit-out, technical sales, or project coordination.
- Proven success in direct customer interactions.
- Competence in understanding technical details and conducting accurate space surveys.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Energetic, proactive attitude with creativity and confidence in suggesting new ideas.
- Professional presentation skills to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong commercial insight and experience managing sales or project workflows.
- Ability to work autonomously and cooperatively within teams.
- Possession of a full UK driving license.
