About the Role
TeacherActive is seeking a motivated and ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join their lively and supportive team based in Exeter, EX5 1FY. This role focuses on education recruitment and offers a competitive salary range of £28,000 to £39,950 along with uncapped commission and no threshold.

Key Responsibilities
- Generating new business and marketing recruitment services to clients.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with schools to understand their staffing needs.
- Visiting clients and participating in networking events to expand connections.
- Recruiting candidates by sourcing, interviewing, and placing qualified professionals.
- Managing your own candidate database and recruitment desk.
- Achieving and exceeding agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets.
- Collaborating with sales and compliance teams to ensure seamless onboarding of placed candidates.
Candidate Profile
- Results-driven with enjoyment in working in target-focused, fast-paced settings.
- Demonstrated persistence and resilience.
- Experience meeting KPIs and working in customer-facing or sales roles.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Highly organized with great attention to detail.
- Confident in negotiation and open to receiving feedback for continuous improvement.
Work Schedule and Conditions
- Full-time office presence in Exeter.
- Term time working hours vary between 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM with slight adjustments during school holidays (typically 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM).
- Reduced hours offered during school holidays to promote work-life balance.
