Role Overview

We are seeking a Product Owner located in Australia to join a dynamic product team comprising Designers, Engineers, and Product specialists. This role entails driving the strategy and delivery of advanced HR, Payroll, Recruitment, Onboarding, Benefits, Employee Engagement, and Performance solutions, with a preference for candidates experienced in AI-driven products.

Key Responsibilities

Own and deliver the product vision, ensuring its success through continual enhancement.
Translate the strategic product plan into actionable delivery and ongoing optimization.
Adjust product vision and roadmaps responsively without deviating from core objectives.
Strategically prioritize user stories balancing business goals, client needs, and practical delivery constraints.
Represent client, customer, and brand interests during release and sprint planning.
Assist client-side product owners and managers with prioritization.
Identify, filter, and prioritize customer complaints and feedback effectively.
Collaborate with designers, product leadership, architects, developers, sales, marketing, professional services, and support teams to plan releases, ensure design excellence, feasibility, and successful rollouts.
Communicate complex ideas and project updates clearly to stakeholders, including C-level executives and external partners.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Systems, IT, Engineering, or quantitative fields such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics.
2 to 4 years' experience in product ownership or product management, particularly in high-velocity product teams.
Strong analytical capabilities for data-driven decision-making and specification writing.
Proven track record with agile/scrum development methodologies.
Ability to critically analyze data to derive actionable product insights.
Comfort challenging the status quo and working with large data sets is advantageous.
Self-motivated, creative, enthusiastic, and adept at navigating rapid growth and ambiguity.
Excellent communication, presentation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
