Where you'll work
Stellenbeschreibung
About the opportunity
This newly established Product Manager position sits with a well-known representative professional services organisation. The role has been designed to provide focused leadership across a portfolio of digital products, with responsibility for improving profitability, streamlining performance, and supporting growth through the launch of new offerings that strengthen long-term commercial resilience.
In this position, you will guide product strategy and work alongside teams in marketing, digital, business development, finance, and analytics. Your work will help shape priorities, test and assess opportunities, prepare commercial cases, and move enhancements from concept through to release.
The role is suited to someone who values collaboration, can work with a high degree of independence, and is comfortable owning commercial outcomes while helping products evolve in a changing digital environment.
What you’ll bring
You should be an experienced product professional who has managed products across the full lifecycle, from initial idea through launch and ongoing improvement. Strong digital product experience is important, particularly working with online platforms and using data to inform decisions.
A sound commercial mindset is needed, including confidence with pricing, financial analysis, and evaluating product performance. You’ll also need experience creating business cases and setting priorities across more than one product stream.
Success in this role will depend on your ability to build strong working relationships across marketing, finance, digital, and delivery teams. You should be comfortable taking ownership in a role that has been newly created, and you’ll need to bring a practical, hands-on approach rather than focusing only on strategy.
Experience in professional services, regulated industries, or financial services would be an advantage.
What’s on offer
This opportunity offers true ownership of product direction, with scope to shape and develop products from the ground up rather than simply maintaining existing work.
You’ll benefit from a flexible working approach, with the ability to structure your day between 7am and 7pm. The portfolio has visible commercial impact, and you’ll be supported by internal capability across finance, marketing, digital, and analytics/business analysis.
There is also growth potential, including the chance to help take products beyond New Zealand, all within a collaborative team that values progress and development.
