Overview
The Mortgage Loan Assistant will provide vital support to customers purchasing homes by assisting with multiple aspects of the loan process. This role is essential for ensuring loan accuracy and compliance, and offers valuable exposure to the mortgage banking sector.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist branch leadership in overseeing loan accuracy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining high-quality control standards throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with branch employees to generate and share pipeline reports, while managing administrative functions related to loan files.
- Support branch accounting operations, including processing invoice payments and handling other financial duties.
- Develop a fundamental understanding of loan procedures such as applications, credit evaluation, disclosures, transcripts, and loan program criteria.
Qualifications
No previous mortgage industry experience is necessary. This role is highly suitable for recent college graduates or early-career professionals seeking to commence a career in mortgage finance.
