Role Overview
This hands-on Marketing Specialist position offers a broad scope across multiple marketing disciplines including social media, communications, creative production, events, and daily operations. You will be a key contributor in content marketing and growth initiatives, working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams. This role requires ownership, agility, and the ability to deliver across digital and traditional marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage social media strategies and daily activities across LinkedIn, Meta, and TikTok to build strong brand presence.
- Own the company blog including editorial calendar planning, content creation, SEO optimization, publishing, and maintenance.
- Execute content marketing efforts such as newsletters, thought leadership pieces, and consistent brand messaging across platforms.
- Produce creative assets like flyers, videos, scripts, and graphics collaborating with the creative director.
- Support growth marketing by creating ad creatives, managing influencer partnerships, and exploring new acquisition channels.
- Gather and create compelling customer reviews and testimonials to enhance credibility.
- Manage communications across email, SMS, and newsletters targeted at dental offices and professionals.
- Oversee direct mail campaigns and coordinate print production and fulfillment.
- Plan and execute 10 to 15 trade shows and live events annually, including logistics, setup, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for marketing teams and partners to ensure smooth attendance at events.
- Organize internal and company-wide events that promote positive culture and employee engagement.
- Manage the webinar program from topic selection to promotion, hosting, and post-event activities.
- Collaborate on joint marketing campaigns with partners such as TeamSmile and HR for Health.
- Handle day-to-day marketing operations including calendar management, incoming requests coordination, project tracking, and vendor relations.
- Work closely with the senior growth marketing manager to innovate campaigns and test new marketing ideas.
Qualifications and Experience
- 1-3 years of marketing experience or exceptional internship experience with a demonstrable portfolio.
- Practical expertise in digital marketing including social media management, email campaigns, web content, and content marketing.
- A genuine curiosity and participation in traditional marketing methods like print, direct mail, tradeshow, and live events.
- Proven writing ability and ownership of social media channels you have personally managed.
- Proficiency in short-form video content and organic social media growth on LinkedIn, Meta, and TikTok.
- Experience with communication platforms such as email and SMS marketing is preferred.
- Familiarity or aptitude to quickly learn marketing software tools like HubSpot, Asana, Canva, and CapCut.
- Comfortable using AI in daily work and eager to deepen this skill.
- Exposure to influencer, creator, or user-generated content marketing is advantageous.
- Experience with tradeshows or live event management is a plus.
- Background in the dental industry is highly desirable.
- Must be able to work onsite in Minneapolis three days per week and attend approximately 10-15 events annually, including occasional weekend commitments.

Compensation and Benefits
Annual salary ranges from $55,000 to $70,000 depending on experience and suitability. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and flexible remote work options.
