Position Overview
We seek a seasoned Manufacturing Engineering Manager to oversee engineering initiatives within a high-efficiency manufacturing setting. This leadership role focuses on shaping and enhancing manufacturing processes, supporting the expansion of production capabilities, managing capital investment initiatives, and spearheading the industrialization of new products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary manufacturing engineering team, providing direction, coaching, and performance oversight.
- Formulate and implement manufacturing engineering strategies aligned with overall business and operational goals.
- Plan production capacity to accommodate future growth and customer requirements.
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Manage the smooth transition of new products from development through to full-scale manufacturing.
- Enhance manufacturing processes to boost productivity, quality, safety, and equipment effectiveness.
- Identify and introduce innovative manufacturing technologies and automation solutions to elevate operational performance.
- Lead continuous improvement programs utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Design and execute cost-reduction strategies that focus on process optimization, productivity gains, and waste minimization.
- Support transfer and localization efforts in manufacturing across international sites.
- Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Product Management teams to develop engineering solutions.
- Monitor and establish engineering KPIs to ensure alignment with operational objectives.
- Create and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, engineering standards, and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Provide expert technical leadership to address complex manufacturing and process challenges.

Required Skills & Experience
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 10 years of experience in Manufacturing, Process, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams within manufacturing contexts.
- Expertise in manufacturing process development and product industrialization.
- Track record of successful CAPEX project delivery and capacity expansion support.
- Experience managing new product introductions and manufacturing transfer projects.
- Strong command of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment development, process optimization, and automation initiatives.
- Exceptional project and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in international manufacturing organizations.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
