Job Summary
This role leads the team responsible for enterprise learning and development at Molina Healthcare. The manager oversees the creation, administration, and execution of employee training and learning programs that support business goals and organizational strategy. The position also involves assessing business learning needs and designing and delivering targeted courses for specific employee groups.
What You’ll Do
- Work with business partners to ensure learning programs support company objectives and priorities.
- Review data and organizational requirements to spot learning gaps and partner with leaders on improvements.
- Carry out training needs assessments for different employee groups.
- Collaborate with the business to determine onboarding and orientation needs for both individual contributors and leaders.
- Apply knowledge of the organization, adult learning theory, and instructional design to create practical learning solutions.
- Build and deliver the leadership training program.
- Create and lead leadership development sessions, including group facilitation and one-on-one coaching to address skill gaps.
- Share recommendations to improve employee learning and development through formal training, informal learning, communication, and coaching.
- Support the design, development, and delivery of learning solutions such as self-paced and instructor-led training.
- Oversee training projects by defining scope, goals, tasks, and instructional design work through implementation.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions that strengthen employee capabilities.
- Recruit, train, coach, and manage the team while ensuring performance and department goals are met.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in training, organizational learning and development, or a comparable mix of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum 1 year of management or leadership experience.
- Strong working knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Background in delivering training.
- Experience with data analysis and process improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to handle several projects at once and meet deadlines.
- Comfort working across a highly matrixed organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.

The posted pay range is $65,791.66 to $142,548.59 annually. Actual pay may differ depending on location, work experience, education, and skill level.
