Queensland Country Bank is dedicated to helping Queenslanders improve their financial well-being. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Local Home Loan Specialist to join our Jimboomba branch team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional, tailored lending services ranging from personal loans and credit cards to complex mortgage products. You will become a trusted advisor by building strong relationships with Members while working within a collaborative and supportive workplace culture that values trust and teamwork.

In this position, you will assist the Local Manager in business growth initiatives, oversee loan processing and distribution tasks, and actively participate in coaching and mentoring your colleagues. A key responsibility includes leading the mortgage retention program to ensure our Members feel supported throughout their lending experience. This is a full-time role, based on a 38-hour workweek from Monday to Friday, with the possibility of working at other branches in the region as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in lending combined with effective sales capabilities
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service delivery
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with attentive listening abilities
• Detail-oriented approach ensuring accuracy in all tasks
• Good mathematical aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of Queensland Country Bank’s products and services is preferred
