Lead Practitioner Family Services

Role Overview

As a Lead Practitioner, you will provide vital family services aimed at supporting children, youth, and their families facing difficulties and vulnerabilities. Your work will involve delivering evidence-based, tailored interventions following the family's unique needs and aligned with the organization's Therapeutic Model of Care (TMoC), fostering safety, stability, and growth.

Program Description

The Family Services framework is designed around three integrated service streams that form a continuum of care, simplifying navigation and delivering a customized experience for families in need. The "Restoring Families" stream focuses on families requiring comprehensive, intensive, and targeted in-home support due to significant and ongoing challenges.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare, or related fields
• Current valid Victorian Driver's License
• Proven experience in child, youth, and family welfare
• Experience working with vulnerable families and adolescents
• Strong understanding of Best Interests Case Practice Model and CYFA 2005
• Advanced knowledge of child development, trauma, and attachment theories
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This role is categorized under SCHADS Level 5 pay scale plus superannuation.
