Role Overview

We seek a dependable and meticulous Laundry Attendant to join the opening team at our new property. This role is vital in supporting the Housekeeping department by ensuring all hotel linen, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry are impeccably cleaned and maintained to uphold our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, launder, dry, press, and fold hotel linen, towels, uniforms, and guest garments following prescribed procedures.
• Operate laundry machinery safely according to manufacturer instructions and hotel policies.
• Handle linens and clothing carefully to preserve quality and prolong usability.
• Manage the proper use and storage of laundry chemicals and supplies.
• Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or damaged items.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, hygiene, and chemical handling protocols.
• Collaborate closely with the Housekeeping team to meet linen and uniform requirements effectively.
• Assist with additional departmental tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Candidate Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or commercial laundry settings is preferred.
• Basic understanding of laundry processes, equipment, and garment care beneficial.
• Physical capability to perform in a demanding work environment.
• Positive demeanor with a team-oriented mindset.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic proficiency in English communication.
• Experience in hotel pre-opening operations is advantageous but not required.
