Role Purpose
This position ensures the timely availability of all product formulations and packaging specifications from the Quality Department to support production schedules. Collaborating closely with the Materials Co-Ordinator, the role guarantees quality control testing of materials aligns with production demands. Additionally, it involves issuing and managing batch documentation through SAP and Serialization systems efficiently.
Primary Duties
- Monthly review and validation of batch documentation to guarantee availability for production timelines, including follow-up with Quality Department as necessary.
- Assessing the monthly production schedule to identify products requiring microbiological testing, and issuing pertinent documentation accordingly.
- Overseeing the quality control testing of raw materials to ensure punctual availability, reporting potential issues to Planning, and providing monthly raw material supplier expiry updates to relevant teams.
- Issuing all formulations and packaging specifications on schedule to the Production department, recording these details accurately in the Batch Number Issue Red Book.
- Completing timely processing of batch documentation within the SAP system, ensuring precision of data.
- Handling serialization entries in the designated system promptly with high accuracy, and communicating updates to the Production team.
- Adhering strictly to all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in performing duties.
- Compiling monthly deviation and investigation reports pertinent to the Materials Department.
- Preparing Change Control Forms related to the Materials Department when necessary.
- Generating updated Production Line Plans based on the current schedule for use by manufacturing and packaging teams.
- Performing additional job-related functions assigned by the department manager.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
- Solid experience using SAP, Serialization, and Tracelink systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to work effectively across departments.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.
