Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations effectively within a busy environment. This role will support employee engagement, recruitment processes, training initiatives, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily HR administrative tasks to maintain efficient and compliant human resources functions.
- Promote a positive workplace culture by managing communication and people-focused initiatives that enhance employee engagement.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries, offering timely and professional assistance.
- Collaborate with department managers to guide recruitment, training, performance management, employee relations, succession planning, and development efforts.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, hiring decisions, and onboarding processes.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience with necessary documentation, training, and support for new hires.
- Maintain comprehensive and current employee records, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements while supporting a paperless HR system.
- Track and schedule mandatory training and organize refresher courses as needed.
- Facilitate training programs and support continuous employee development.
- Assist managers with disciplinary and grievance processes following best practices and legal guidelines.
- Prepare accurate payroll submissions weekly within set deadlines.
- Contribute to the implementation of company-wide HR initiatives and projects.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with department leaders and management teams.
- Monitor attendance and absenteeism, helping managers handle related issues effectively.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree or professional qualification in Human Resources Management, or actively pursuing a recognized HR certification.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a busy HR setting.
- In-depth understanding of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to build productive relationships across all levels.
- Emotional intelligence with a people-centered approach.
- Skilled in managing sensitive matters, resolving conflicts, and supporting employee relations.
- Proactive, professional, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Additional Information
This position is part-time, requiring 32 hours per week.
