Role Overview
We are seeking two permanent HR Coordinators to join our HR Services team in Wellington. In this full-time, onsite position, you will play a pivotal role by delivering primary HR support and advice to staff and managers, managing various aspects of the HR process, and ensuring seamless coordination within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise managers regarding HR policies, tools, and workflows.
- Draft employment letters including offers and contract variations.
- Oversee the onboarding process for all employees.
- Provide prompt and accurate HR advice through the ServiceNow platform.
Candidate Profile
- Recent graduate in HR or someone eager to transition into HR from related fields.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with patience and excellent communication abilities.
- Customer service excellence with an approachable demeanor.
- Experience or study in a relevant tertiary discipline, or substantial administrative/customer service experience.
- Ability to proficiently handle multiple systems and multitask with strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized with effective time management skills.
- Understanding and respect for cross-cultural issues, especially knowledge of tikanga Māori and Pacific cultures.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting salary ranges from $68,371 to $75,501 annually, depending on experience, within a step-based progression system.
