Key responsibilities

• Prepare guest rooms to a high standard by making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and carrying out deeper cleaning when required.
• Restock room supplies, including linens, towels, and other guest amenities.
• Keep the housekeeping trolley organised, supplied, and moved between work areas each day.
• Respond quickly and politely to guest requests and room-related needs.
• Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables in the correct designated locations.
• Clean public areas on a rotating schedule.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping is required.
• Experience as a room attendant or in a similar hospitality housekeeping role is preferred.
• Strong standards for cleanliness and presentation are important.
• Must be able to handle physically active work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Should communicate in a courteous, professional manner with guests.
• Needs to work efficiently and complete tasks within assigned timelines.
• Must be comfortable working closely with housekeeping colleagues and other hotel departments.
• Shift work is required, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic English communication skills are needed; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Should understand cleaning chemicals and follow safety practices.
