Role Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical professional to serve as the Head of Controlling in our regional Singapore office. This role will oversee SG&A controlling, Free Cash Flow (FCF) reporting, and consolidation activities for our three brands: foodora, foodpanda, and Yemeksepeti.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SG&A controllership by managing personnel and non-personnel expenses, identifying cost trends, assessing risks, and uncovering opportunities to enhance profitability.
• Manage and mentor two direct reports—the Senior Manager for SG&A and the Consolidation/FCF specialist—to ensure timely, accurate, and insightful reports.
• Supervise technical consolidation of financial data across brands following group guidelines and the development of heatmaps for high-level reporting.
• Drive excellence in Free Cash Flow reporting by guaranteeing data precision and creating sophisticated dashboards for local, regional, and management use.
• Act as a vital liaison between Regional Finance, Country Leaders, and the People & Culture team to align headcount and personnel cost strategies with business expansion.
• Standardize financial policies such as full-time equivalent (FTE) tracking and intercompany invoicing to assure consistency throughout the region.
• Provide advanced financial models and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making at executive levels.
• Initiate automation projects to replace manual processes, building scalable reporting dashboards for transparent SG&A visibility.

Candidate Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in Controlling or Financial Planning & Analysis, including significant team leadership responsibilities.
• Proven track record in fast-moving sectors such as technology, e-commerce, or logistics with the ability to excel in high-growth settings.
• Exceptional communication skills capable of simplifying complex financial data into persuasive narratives for senior leadership.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable collaborating across diverse regional teams and functions as a trusted business partner.
• Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with OneStream or Anaplan platforms is advantageous.
• Specialist knowledge in SG&A controlling, financial consolidation, or Free Cash Flow reporting.
• Passionate about utilizing artificial intelligence to streamline and automate finance operations.
