Key Responsibilities

- Lead all phases of production including scouting, shot listing, conducting pre-interviews, on-set camera operation, lighting, directing, and post-production editing.
- Develop and maintain a complete filming equipment kit for Ramp’s NYC office, managing procurement and upkeep.
- Create social media derivative content from main productions to support multiple channels including paid, organic, and sales-related content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Customer Marketing and Creative departments to communicate creative choices and production edits.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum five years of film production experience encompassing commercial and documentary-style projects.
- Ability to independently operate camera and complete post-production editing without delegation.
- Demonstrated strength in character-focused storytelling within business contexts, showcased by a strong reel.
- Background in independent filmmaking, post-production houses, or similar creative production environments.
- Keen editorial judgment with the ability to discern when an edit is complete.
- Experience creating effective short social media cuts from longer documentary films.
- Ability to highlight customer value and narrative impact simultaneously.
- Comfortable directing small crews and managing multi-faceted shoots independently.
- Familiarity with AI editing tools such as Descript, Runway, and Adobe AI.
- Willingness and availability to travel frequently for location shoots.
- Based in New York City or San Francisco with ability to travel regularly.
Preferred Extras
- Strong portfolio in still photography.
- Drone certification.
- Established industry connections with editors, sound engineers, and lighting professionals.
- Experience collaborating closely with in-house creative directors and marketing leads.
