This is a hands-on, high-trust position that goes beyond traditional calendar management and combines executive support with office leadership responsibilities. The role offers regular exposure to board-level work and is based on-site five days a week.
The position is classified as nonexempt and hourly, with full overtime pay for any after-hours work. Compensation is listed as $75,000 to $90,000 annually, plus a bonus.
What you will handle
- Take full ownership of the CEO’s calendar, travel planning, and meeting coordination.
- Prepare for board and committee meetings by organizing materials, managing distribution, following up on action items, and handling communication with directors.
- Draft executive communications, presentations, and briefing documents.
- Track action items tied to leadership and board priorities and help keep projects moving forward.
- Oversee day-to-day operations for a small office of about 35 people, including supplies, vendor coordination, and facility-related support in a recently renovated workspace.
- Act as a dependable point of contact for a CEO who values direct, two-way communication and professionalism.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate brings at least five years of experience supporting senior executives, with C-suite support preferred. Prior experience assisting with board meetings is required and is a key part of this search. You should be comfortable supporting a demanding, fast-moving executive and able to manage responsibilities with confidence and discretion.
Success in this role also requires a proactive mindset, the ability to anticipate needs before being asked, and comfort balancing executive support with office management responsibilities. Experience in a public company or a governance-related environment is considered a strong advantage.
Why this opportunity stands out
