Deputy / Assistant Manager, Technology Management

Role Overview

This position is within the Technology Management Division at the Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Singapore. The division plays a crucial role in supporting LTA's leadership by establishing processes and governance mechanisms that drive the execution of technology projects aimed at achieving long-term strategic objectives in land transport.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with various stakeholders to formulate technology roadmaps and investment plans.
• Lead or contribute to project management efforts for proof-of-concept trials involving technology partners.
• Conduct horizon scanning to track emerging and potentially disruptive technologies impacting land transport.
• Provide regular updates and briefings to senior management on progress and key developments.

Candidate Profile and Skills

• Possess engineering knowledge relevant to developing technology roadmaps and investment strategies.
• Demonstrate strong analytical abilities along with excellent writing, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in technical project management.
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical data and effectively communicate findings through reports and presentations.
• Resourcefulness and strong command of English with proficiency in writing and delivering presentations.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and handle multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
• Passion for discovering innovative technological solutions addressing urban land transport challenges.
• Experience in creating research and development roadmaps is advantageous.
